Terms of use
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Quorpi app and the quorpi.app website (together, "the service").
The service is published by PrysmaLab, which you can reach at [email protected].
By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. The service
Quorpi helps groups that meet regularly know whether a session can take place. In particular, the service lets you:
- create groups and set their schedule and participation rule;
- invite members by link, QR code or email;
- answer Yes, Maybe or No to each session;
- automatically work out a session's status from the answers and the group's rule;
- ask substitutes to step in;
- receive notifications.
The service is free. PrysmaLab may change, add or remove features. If paid options were offered in the future, they would be presented clearly and would not apply without your agreement.
3. Account
To use the service, you must create an account with a valid email address and a password.
- You must be at least 15 years old.
- The information you provide must be accurate. An account is personal.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use at [email protected].
4. Roles in a group
- The organizer creates and manages the group: information, schedule, participation rule, invitations, members and substitutes. They can change or cancel a session, and archive or delete the group under the conditions set by the app.
- A member joins a group by invitation and answers the sessions that concern them.
- A substitute is asked to step in for a specific session without becoming a member of the group.
When adding a substitute with their email address, the organizer agrees to enter only the details of a person who would reasonably expect to be contacted for this activity.
5. Content you publish
You remain responsible for the content you enter: a group's name and description, place, notes, display name and answers.
You grant PrysmaLab a non-exclusive, free right to host, reproduce and display this content, solely to run the service for the people concerned and for as long as the content is kept.
You must not publish content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful or discriminatory;
- harasses or threatens anyone;
- discloses other people's personal data without the right to do so, especially sensitive data;
- is advertising or unsolicited (spam);
- infringes the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
6. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- use the service for any purpose other than organizing group activities;
- try to access the data of other users or groups without being invited;
- disrupt, overload or bypass the security measures of the service;
- automate the use of the service or extract its data at scale;
- impersonate anyone.
7. Moderation, suspension and deletion
PrysmaLab may remove content, or suspend or delete an account or group that does not comply with these terms or the law. Except in an emergency, under a legal obligation or for a serious breach, you are informed beforehand and can respond.
You can report content or behavior that breaches these terms to [email protected].
8. Liability
Quorpi is a tool to help organize. In particular:
- a session's status is worked out from the answers entered and the group's rule. It guarantees neither that participants will actually attend nor that the activity will take place;
- the activities themselves (sports games, meals, trips, carpools…) are organized under the sole responsibility of their participants. PrysmaLab does not take part in them and is not their organizer;
- PrysmaLab is not a party to relationships between users.
PrysmaLab strives to provide an available and reliable service but cannot guarantee it. The service may be interrupted, for example for maintenance, and notifications may be delayed or not delivered.
To the extent permitted by law, PrysmaLab is liable only for proven fault and only for direct damage. These limits do not apply in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to personal injury, and do not deprive consumers of their statutory rights.
9. Personal data
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.
10. Intellectual property
The app, the website, the Quorpi name, the logo and the graphic elements belong to PrysmaLab or its licensors. You may use them only as part of the normal use of the service. Open-source software included in the app remains subject to its licenses, which you can view in the app.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in the app (how to). Your participation in upcoming sessions is then removed; participation in past or cancelled sessions remains visible to other participants under an anonymized label.
An account unused for 3 years is deleted, following a warning email.
12. Changes to these terms
PrysmaLab may change these terms, for example to reflect changes to the service or the law. For significant changes, you are informed in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
If a problem arises, first contact [email protected] to look for an amicable solution.
Failing agreement, the dispute is brought before the competent courts. If you are a consumer, you can bring the matter before the court where you live.
